Red Robin teams up with law enforcement officers to support Special Olympics athletes

PORTLAND, Ore., Sept. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- On Saturday, Sept. 29 from 12 to 8 p.m., local law enforcement officers will trade in their handcuffs and badges for serving aprons and burgers at all 16 Red Robin(R) restaurants in Oregon for a Tip-A-Cop fundraiser. During the Tip-A-Cop fundraiser, law enforcement officers will collect tips from restaurant guests to benefit Special Olympics Oregon.

Tip-A-Cop is part of the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run Campaign (LETR). LETR, which includes an international series of relay runs and special events like Tip-A-Cop, is presented by more than 85,000 law enforcement officers worldwide to raise money and public awareness for Special Olympics.
