Red Robin Gourmet Burgers Continues Illinois Expansion With Opening of Fairview Heights Location

Grand Opening to Benefit the Fairview Fire Department

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo., Feb. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Inc., (Red Robin), will open its 11th Illinois restaurant in Fairview Heights on Monday, Feb. 5, at 11 a.m. The Fairview Heights Red Robin(R) restaurant is located off of Highways 50 and 159, in front of the St. Clair Mall. Red Robin is a casual dining restaurant chain focused on serving an innovative selection of high-quality gourmet burgers in a family-friendly atmosphere.

As part of its grand opening celebration, Red Robin will donate 50 cents from every gourmet burger sold during grand opening week, Feb. 5 to 11, to the Fairview Fire Department. The money raised will help support The Special Fund. The Special Fund is made up of non-taxpayer monies used to support things like Khory league baseball, BTHS East band and other organizations.

"On behalf of the Fairview Fire Department, I would like to thank Red Robin for choosing to support us during its opening week celebration," said Bryan Doyle, chief of the Fairview Fire Department. "This donation will help to support local events and charitable organizations."

The 6,350 square foot Fairview Heights Red Robin restaurant will seat 212 guests, and will be 100 percent smoke-free. Red Robin has 10 additional restaurants in Illinois including five corporate-owned locations in Edwardsville, Rockford, Bolingbrook, Oswego and Plainfield, and five restaurants operating under franchise or license agreements in Algonquin, Warrenville, Lincolnshire, Wheaton and Schaumburg.
