Red Robin Gourmet Burgers Continues Missouri Expansion With Opening of Springfield Location

Grand Opening to Benefit the Springfield Fire Department

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo., Jan. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Inc., (Red Robin), will open its eighth Missouri restaurant in Springfield on Monday, Jan. 15, at 11 a.m. The Springfield Red Robin(R) restaurant is located at 3720 South Glenstone Ave., on the corner of Peele Street and South Glenstone Ave. Red Robin is a casual dining restaurant chain focused on serving an innovative selection of high-quality gourmet burgers in a family-friendly atmosphere.

As part of its grand opening celebration, Red Robin will donate 50 cents from every gourmet burger sold during grand opening week, Jan. 15 to 21, to the Springfield Fire Department. The money raised will help support the Fire Department's public education fund.

"On behalf of the Springfield Fire Department, I would like to thank Red Robin for choosing to support us during its opening week celebration," said David Hall, assistant fire chief of the Springfield Fire Department. "This donation will help ensure the department is able to provide fire safety programs to the children in the community. It also supports the Fire Department's ability to provide free smoke alarms to the public."

The 6,350 square foot Springfield Red Robin restaurant will seat 212 guests, and will be 100 percent smoke-free. Red Robin has seven additional restaurants in Missouri including six corporate-owned locations in Dardenne Prairie, Chesterfield, Des Peres, Fenton, St. Peters and O'Fallon, and one franchise-owned and operated location in Independence.
